Gardner Company, was honored with the prestigious 2025 Pinnacle Award at the Aviation Insurance Association (AIA) annual conference held in Orlando, Florida. The Pinnacle Award is presented annually to an individual who has demonstrated exceptional service and commitment to both the aviation and aviation insurance industries.
Gardner has been an active member of AIA for over two decades, serving on numerous committees and the Board of Directors. He served as President of the association in 2020 and 2021, leading the organization through the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and ensuring its continued relevance and impact during uncertain times. His leadership on the Education Committee, creation of the AIA Safety Committee and involvement in multiple leadership positions have left a lasting mark on the organization.

Jim Gardner began his career as a pilot in the U.S. Air Force before flying commercially with Eastern Air Lines. In 2003, he transitioned into the aviation insurance industry and went on to found the James A. Gardner Company in 2011, bringing his firsthand aviation experience into the world of Aviation Insurance and Risk Management.
